Do the British make better television commercials than Americans? Sometimes they do -- just the memory of the classic British Airways commercials are cheering. See what you think at these three sites which have archives of British 'adverts.' Telly Ads is dedicated to 'TV without the boring bits', which, in the site's view, are the programs (programmes) themselves. An idiosyncratic selection (including some older ads) are at Absolutely Andy. The ad gallery at Thinkbox has classic ads, interactive ads (kind of cool, actually), and this year's award winners. Our favorite is #9, which is for a Netflix-type company. Why such a service would feature cows, pigs, and horses isn't entirely clear, but it makes us laugh anyway.
