We don't know if there have been any studies done on this, but our guess is using the word 'education' in the title of your movie would reduce your box office gross by, what, 80%? Case in point, The Education of Shelby Knox, which made a too-brief appearance in theaters last year. It's the true story of a teenage girl from Lubbock, Texas who found herself, despite conservative parents, and despite a pledge of abstinence until she gets married, becoming a crusader for comprehensive sex education in high schools. As movie – not to mention real-life – heroines go, Knox is irresistible: smart, articulate, courageous. Shelby Knox for president!
