stuff to buy stuff to do stuff to see

John Hill developed his 30 in 30 series between semesters of his Urban Design master program at NYC's City College. Several times a week last month, he set out to photograph places that were "new, unexpected, or historical, as long as they're interesting in some regard." Almost without realizing it, he said, themes emerged such as "layering of new over old, how a building/place relates to its context, and how the city changes over time at various scales." If you just want to browse the collection as a site of appealing images of New York City, that works, too. The full collection is at flickr.
