It's in Toronto -- 39,000 square feet over five floors of shoes, shoes, shoes. Called the Bata Shoe Museum, it was created from the personal collection of Sonja Bata in 1995.
The news is that their latest exhibit, "Chronicles of Riches: Treasures from the Bata Shoe Museum," displays dozens of rarely-seen (but well worth seeing) shoes from their vaults. And if you go, the Bata's gift shop sells everything shoe-related except, alas, shoes.
