The Geffen Contemporary exhibition space, designed by Frank Gehry, is part of L.A.'s Museum of Contemporary Art. It's been closed for renovations, but will be reopening on March 4th with a major exhibition called "WACK!: Art and the Feminist Revolution."
WACK! examines art created between 1965-1980, the most dynamic years of feminist activism. There are 120 artists from all over the world in the show, represented by paintings, sculpture, photography, film, and performance art. Among the many notables: Judy Chicago, Miriam Schapiro, and Cindy Sherman. Through July 16.
