Broadway is always in its death throes. And even if the Fabulous Invalid isn't at the center of popular culture in the way it once was, there are heartening signs of life.
Take for instance, Georgia Stitt. She's a composer, lyricist, conductor, arranger, pianist, vocal coach. We don't know this for a fact, but she could probably install your high-def TV, too.
Anyway, she's an extremely gifted composer, which you can hear for yourself on her new album "This Ordinary Thursday," with singers including Sara Ramirez, Matthew Morrison, and Kelli O'Hara. Ms. Stitt, by the way, is married to Jason Robert Brown, no slouch in the talented composer department.
