stuff to buy stuff to do stuff to see

Franziska Henning and Thorsten Reuber come from the worlds of painting and music respectively, and Reuber Henning rug designs evoke a little of the magic and wonder of both.

We especially love the Alice-in-Wonderland mood of their "Fairy Tale" rug, which depicts storybook silhouettes with a decidedly dark twist. Each piece is hand-knotted and takes nearly 12 weeks to complete (hence the roughly $4700 price tag), combining Himalayan wool and Chinese silk to create something that's almost too handsome to tread upon.
