Since 2000, 1000 Journals crisscrossed the globe.

It was started by the artist Someguy, who thought something interesting might come out of putting journals randomly into circulation (passing them along to friends, leaving them in coffee shops, etc.). Did it ever.

People were encouraged to contribute an entry of text, a drawing, a list, something into these itinerant diaries. Someguy has collected the best entries in a new book.

If you'd like to participate, well, you're in luck. 1001 Journals has launched, which allows you to request a journal or start one of your own.
