There are those who love to fly and those who get on an airplane to get where they're going. Third category: Branislav Kropilak.
Mr. Kropilak is an artist/photographer born in Bratislava, Slovakia who now lives in Barcelona. One of his interests is looking at transportation in fresh ways. There's a nearly sinister eeriness to his series on empty parking garages. He's begun a series on trains. But his set of airplane landings is simply beautiful -- the planes aren't visible, except as striations of light.
