Every so often, when we're listening to something in our beloved iTunes, we hit the visual effects button, and we're almost instantly bored: the shapes "set" to the music seem like something right out of an early '90s video game (and not in a good way).
So we're all fired up about Magnetosphere, a visualizer available for Mac or Windows, which plugs into your iTunes and pretty much turns your computer screen into the world's most luminous fireworks display. Or a techno Jackson Pollock. Or some sort of chemically-induced daydream.
Just download the software, use the A key to add more elements for a richer effect, and prepare for the music you're streaming to (almost) become an afterthought.
