stuff to buy stuff to do stuff to see

For aviation fanatics, history buffs or those who just really enjoy folding things, Paper Pilot: The Paper Airplane Pilot's Manual (Staff Sergeant Benjamin Haynes, with an introduction by Andy Spade) is about to become your new favorite thing.

It starts as a sleek coffee-table book packed with trivia and photographs about the history of flying, but the D.I.Y. paper-building kit is the real selling point, with its 24 expertly scaled models of famous aircraft (like the F-15 eagle) ready to be assembled -- and used with the four-page foldout runway. Perfect for the next rainy weekend.

I bought this book yesterday after reading about it online. The first thing I did was build one of the model-paper-airplanes in the back. It looks great, was fun to build and even flies... sorta. I highly recommend getting this book.
