stuff to buy stuff to do stuff to see

It was 1988 when REMO launched their store in Sydney, "with a mission to seek out and celebrate quality, passion and authenticity in people and merchandise gathered together from all over the world."

The bricks and mortar may be gone, but the Australian company is -- digitally and philosophically -- very much with us. You can shop REMO for their selection of t-shirts -- stuff you won't find everywhere (or anywhere) else. The accompanying text about the shirt's meaning or design is always funny and interesting.

But this is a general store, with all that implies, so you'll find much more than just t-shirts. Fabulous Hank's Jams, Maya Dust for campers, wall clocks, Gorgeous creams and oils, journals, towels, pens, and even some amusing action figures.

Needless to say, it's a treasure trove when you need to buy a gift, but we warn you: if you're short on time or cash, move along. REMO is addictive.
