stuff to buy stuff to do stuff to see

Here's a nifty service that will help you stay on top of things when you have a lot on your mind. And it won't cost you a penny.

Jott, which is in public beta, works like this (after you do the very short setup). Dial Jott's number. The computer will ask you who you want to Jott. You say 'me.' Then, leave yourself any kind of reminder -- make travel plans to Paris, buy new weed whacker, seize the day. When you're done speaking, the chipper computer guide says, "Got it!"

And she does. When you get to your email inbox, Jott will have transcribed the note and emailed it to you (or, say, an assistant) -- for whatever further action is needed. It's a great way to stay organized, and keep your mind clutter-free.

I had heard about this before but didn't join. Your article prompted me to sign up. It's very easy to sign up, it's free and it works great already. Thanks, Trio!
