Even though the intro on the Instructables website for creating LED Throwies says these little things are a way to add color to your neighborhood, we take a dim view of decorating any place that's not your own property.
Having said that, these doodads will add some sparkle to a summer night -- have a look at the photos here. And if you're not familiar with the Instructables website, it's a great resource for DYI projects -- from fanciful, as above, to completely practical.
