We've gotten hooked on the new show (from our mothership, Bravo) "Welcome to the Parker" -- a backstage look at the hotel world.
As a companion piece, check out "Hotel Babylon" on BBC America starting this Wednesday. It's a fictionalized account along the same lines, based on the book by Imogen Edwards-Jones, a British journalist, and an anonymous hotel manager. Every outrageous thing that the real-life manager has experienced in his career is compressed into one 24-hour period.
It's trashy fun and the show should be nothing less.
