We recycle. We own a bike (pedal, not motor). And given the choice, we'll opt for an organic carrot over one laden with pesticides. In other words, sure, we like making responsible choices -- but save for word of mouth from our especially eco-conscious friends, we don't discover cool new products and ideas to greenify our lives as often as we'd like.
So we took fast to Sprig, a just-sprouted website that does just that: It identifies the best of the latest in food, beauty, home, fashion and lifestyle (from a bamboo wrap top to organic vodka), calling out "why it's good" and "why it's green."
The layout's a breeze and the design is beautiful; we especially like that you can wishlist picks and view items by price (Sprig's nod to the fact that going eco on a budget is no mean feat). The video section features everything from composing a cheese plate to backstage interviews at Live Earth, and really turns Sprig into a channel for green living. Now we simply have no excuse.
