Maybe it's that late August thing, when, at least in certain areas of the country, looking up into the night sky is more mind-bending, more entertaining, and more beautiful than anything you can name.
But on those nights when the light of the city obscures the view, we love watching an episode of The History Channel's "The Universe." Coming up are episodes on the search for extraterrestrial life, secrets of the sun, and Jupiter.
The universe (small u) will offer its own show on August 28, when a lunar eclipse will begin at 5:52am EDT. NASA has the details.
