Here's the scene: a crisp, fall day. The sky is clear, the temperature demands a sweater, the leaves are turning. Maybe there's a lake and sunlight is sparkling on the water. You get the drift.

Now we suggest you add some music, a particular piece, classical no less, to your iPod that will transform an everyday walk into an absolute blissout. Trust us.

The music is called "Mapping Wales" by Welsh composer John Metcalf and even if that doesn't sound particularly sublime (it's named after the work by Welsh artist Catrin Webster), have a listen. It's about 20 minutes of achingly beautiful music and autumnal joy.
