You don't usually associate a sense of wit with watches. But the timepieces from Mr. Jones Watches, the work of Britain's Crispin Jones, have just that.
There are currently five models to choose from and each model is a limited edition of 100 (they run £79.99 or about $160). They're all great looking. But they all have something more to say than the current time.
The Mantra watch alternates between displaying supportive statements ('you're great') and keep-your-ego-in-check ones ('no chance'). The Decider alternates between 'yes' and 'no' and Right or Wrong is there to solve any dilemma. There's a More or Less design, and The Accurate model. One hand says 'remember' and the other says 'you will die' -- a memento mori that allows Mr. Jones to claim it is "the most accurate wristwatch you can buy."
