Many of the best board games -- the kind that don't collect dust at the back of a closet -- are fairly simple ideas. You've Been Sentenced! is one of those, and it's a keeper.
You get five-sided cards with words on them and from those words, you need to form a sentence -- one that's grammatically correct and makes at least some kind of sense. The rest of the players then become a jury and you have to defend your sentence to them. They decide how you'll fare.
The fun of the thing -- and it really does become funny -- is in defending a sentence that's probably never before been uttered in the history of mankind.
