There are bazillions of photoblogs on the net and we're not going to make the case that Macaco Photography is the best one out there. Who knows what that might be.
Even so, we're drawn to this site, full of familiar subjects -- a dog, a landscape, sheet music on a piano -- that seem somehow captivating all over again under the sensitive eye of the Italian photographer behind the lens.
Don't miss the Burning Bulb shot (how'd he do that?), a similar one called Lightsmoke, a sublime self-portrait, and a closeup of a diaphanous butterfly. It's all a reminder that small and quiet can be completely satisfying.
