stuff to buy stuff to do stuff to see

We're such fans of both John and Joan Cusack that we'd go to see virtually anything they were in. And when they perform together, as they do in the new movie Martian Child, opening Friday, we wouldn't miss it for the world. It's the story of a recent widower who forms a bond with a young boy who claims to be from Mars.

What we wanted to point you today, though, is a related website called the The Martian Family Project. It's a variation of the time capsule idea, here called Time Pods. You include the info you want about yourself and then add pics, videos, or other documents before sending it off into the digital ether. You can also browse other people's entries.

Will they be looking at these Time Pods hundreds of years from now? Who knows? But meanwhile it's an interesting peek into who we are right now.

liked the story and the concept, but how do we tell the web designer that the site doesn't work? the page is too large for the screen and cuts off and then when you click on other parts to read them, it doesn't send you anywhere? thanks.
