stuff to buy stuff to do stuff to see

As design concepts go, this is one of the odder ones we've come across lately -- but we keep going back to the site, looking at the pics, considering it again.

The Multipot is shaped like a classic clay garden pot. It's meant to hold extra cabling out of sight and contains sockets for recharging various devices.

But wait, that's not all, as they used to say on late-night commercials. The MultiPot is also a lamp -- its translucent sides filter the light. And the top functions as a tray to hold a cell phone or digital camera while they're getting juiced up.

So maybe it's not so odd after all, but a clever solution for electronics clutter that goes beyond the call of duty.

This is absolutely brilliant! This would look fantastic next to my new iMac or in my TV area. Much better than the stupid clippies I use to bunch up cords now. Of course, anything that doesn't plainly display a price is probably too expensive for me.
