It's not much of a surprise that one of our favorite booksellers, Powell's from Oregon, would have one of our favorite book blogs.
They post reviews of books from various outside sources (The Washington Post, The Atlantic Monthly, etc.) as well as their own reviews. There is a daily Book News update -- for last Friday, they looked at the backlash to Alice Sebold's The Almost Moon and the backlash to the backlash.
And you can read original essays by authors including Richard Russo and Brock Clarke, whose novel, An Arsonist's Guide to Writers' Homes in New England, is one of the major books of the fall.
In short, if you're a book lover, there's always something good to read there.
