This fall marked the 25th anniversary of Princess Grace's death, and the Princess Grace Foundation commissioned six top designers to create a dress that had some resonance with the Princess. If you want to have a mini Grace Kelly film festival this weekend, and it's always a good time for such a thing, you can watch The Country Girl, for which Kelly won an Oscar. For more lighthearted fare, there's To Catch a Thief with Cary Grant (which boasts the famous fireworks scene). But for our money, Grace Kelly was never more ravishing than in Rear Window. There's one shot, with the camera pointing up at her, hovering over Jimmy Stewart, that gives us chills every time. If that's not an angel up on the screen, who ever was?
