You might think that the impact of your holiday cards and gift wrap are pretty minimal in the scope of things. But consider this: annual sales of greeting cards exceed $7 billion -- with a B, according to the Greeting Card Association.

That may be a lot of good wishes, but it's also a lot of trees. You can send electronic greetings, of course, but to keep your eco-awareness burnished through the holiday season using paper, consider cards and wrap that are made from recycled paper and that can be returned to the recycle bin.
