stuff to buy stuff to do stuff to see

Chestnuts roasting on an open fire is all well and good, but for some nostalgia-inducing aromas, not to mention great tasting eats, go dough.

Order croissants from My Boulangerie and you'll get dough which you let thaw and rise overnight at room temperature. Then bake. Similar drills for brioches, even Proust's beloved madeleines. There are desserts available and seasonal items, too.

So even if you didn't grow up with the smell of warm croissants or the taste of a madeleine, the goods from My Boulangerie might just convince you otherwise.

Fantastic. Even the rise & bake chocolate croissants from Trader Joes are wonderful, but these sound out of this world...

I've gotten stuff from MyBoulangerie.com and it's amazing! The croissant and pain au chocolat are the perfect combo of flaky and buttery plus it's straight from the oven so extra tasty. Made for a really nice Sunday brunch and a good present, too.
