We've always thought there was something magical about Polaroid pictures, and we're thrilled to learn that a Viennese graphics addict/web developer who goes only by the name "Doc" agrees with us.
He started Polanoid.net as community "stuffed with millions of Polaroids, collected and uploaded by Polaroid addicts all over the planet." More than 8,500 members play, share and obsess gleefully about the analog format on Polanoid, and participation goes beyond the site just being a repository for found snaps: (for instance, Doc gives out themed assignments -- like "Sweat" or "Sleeping Dog" -- to Polaroid shooters and posts galleries of submissions).
