Sometimes the crooks featured in Clumsy Crooks are truly creepy or loathsome. We don't like those stories so much. The ones that keep us coming back to the site are the ones about burglars not playing with a full deck.
You know -- the ones who plan to use a getaway car but leave the keys in the ignition and lock the doors, but only realize it after they committed the crime. Or the ones who accidentally leave their wallet behind during a bank heist, giving a 'clue' to the police.
It's fun watching movies about criminal masterminds, but as this site reminds us on a daily basis, mostly it's not Rhodes Scholars doing this stuff.
