The Design Museum of London always has something interesting going on. Right now, there's an exhibit on hot British designer Matthew Williamson called "10 Years in Fashion."
What we especially wanted to point out, though, was their design directory -- the best of its kind we've ever seen. Designers from R. Buckminster Fuller to Tord Boontje get an essay about their work, a biography by date, and images of significant creations. If you want to learn about modern and contemporary design, this is the place to start.
