With any luck, the television strike will be settled soon. But in the meantime, you may be going back into television's long archives for something good to watch.

One series we never get tired of (and we're not talking the movie versions here) is "Mission: Impossible", with its top-secret assignments, disguises, gadgets, and a top-tier cast. Among them, Martin Landau, Barbara Bain, Greg Morris, and Peter Graves. Of course, for all its cutting-edge coolness, the great Bain's character was still called Cinnamon Carter.
