stuff to buy stuff to do stuff to see

Opening tomorrow in select cities, U2 3D is the first live-action 3D concert movie.

It was shot in South Africa from over 100 hours of live footage when U2 was on its "Veritgo" tour. Fair to say that no concert film to date can match it for the intensity and immediacy of the interaction of band members, and reactions of the famously demonstrative U2 fans.

A harbinger, perhaps, of future concert films.

I went and saw the 3d movie today in Dallas...."the concert" was great, of course. You get to see views back at the audience like you are on stage. The filming and shots are awesome. A full 1 1/2 hrs of fun!
